Cumberland County Library is hosting Movie Night on August 20 at 5:30 PM. In this month’s film, “Murder on the Orient Express,” set in 1930s Europe, legendary detective Hercule Poirot probes a murder that occurs aboard the Orient Express. As the thirteen passengers grow paranoid that the killer will strike again, Poirot realizes there's more to the case than meets the eye. Featuring an all-star cast including Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, and Johnny Depp, the film is based on the classic mystery by Agatha Christie. This film is rated PG-13. Showtime is at 5:30 PM in the Library Meeting Room. Admission is free. No registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. Movie Night is held on the third Wednesday of every month. "Yoga With Ceci" is a soft and gentle practice with breath work and flow, appropriate for beginner and intermediate practitioners. One-hour sessions begin with centering, warm up and end with a 5-10 minute relaxation. (Savasana) Sanskrit vocabulary is used intermittently with English. The type of yoga practiced in this program is called Hatha. It is a gentle practice which utilizes props (including chairs, blocks and pillows) and our motto is “No new pain in yoga”. Each participant is encouraged to bring their own mat, although there will be some mats to borrow. Please note: registration is required to participate in “Yoga With Ceci”.
