All county residents are eligible for a FREE library card which enables access to several digital services that can be accessed from anywhere.

The Cumberland County Library will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. However, you may call the library at (856) 453-2210 ext. 26101 if you do not have a library card and we will assist you in obtaining a card number remotely so that you may access these services.


Especially useful services for at-home learning are Hoopla, and OverDrive, both of which can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store on iOS devices, Google Play on Android devices, and the Amazon Appstore on Amazon Fire tablets. With these platforms, you have access to movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows. Hoopla and OverDrive are also available on the web at and

JerseyClicks, available at, is New Jersey’s statewide digital reference service for high-quality databases, and includes Reference Latina, a Spanish-language, database. LearningExpress Library, available at, is a highly acclaimed e-learning solution that provides support to students and professionals for academic skill-building, standardized test prep, career certification test prep and more.

These online services are user-friendly and easy to access with your library card.
