As previously mentioned, our 2025 funds dedicated to providing Hoopla were significantly reduced and we had to make the unfortunate decision to limit access during the second half of this year. As it stands, our budget moving forward has not been determined so we have made the difficult decision to COMPLETELY pause Hoopla lending beginning December 1st, 2025, and it will remain unavailable into the new year. We will also discontinue digital magazines through OverDrive starting immediately.
Additionally, we have had to significantly limit spending on regular in-house materials and we understand the limited access to titles is frustrating. We do not make this decision lightly and we hope to have answers soon on how the library’s funding will be handled moving forward.
Access to books through Libby/Overdrive will remain unchanged.
