Historical Program: Langston Hughes

On Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 2 PM, Cumberland County Library Library will host a free historical program, “Langston Hughes: I Too, have a Song to Sing,” a dramatic live performance featuring American Historical Theatre actor and scholar Keith Henley as famed Harlem Renaissance poet Langston Hughes. Event Series Yoga with Ceci

Yoga with Ceci

“Yoga With Ceci” is a soft and gentle practice with breath work and flow, appropriate for beginner and intermediate practitioners. One-hour sessions begin with centering, warm up and end with a 5-10 minute relaxation (Savasana) Sanskrit vocabulary is used intermittently with English. The type of yoga practiced in this program is called Hatha. It is a gentle practice which utilizes props (including chairs, blocks and pillows)and our motto is “No new pain in yoga”. Each participant is encouraged to bring their own mat, although there will be some mats to borrow. This program is part of a grant-funded partnership between Cumberland County Library and the New Jersey Department of Health. Please note: registration is required to participate in “Yoga With Ceci”.
