Quinn will bring a horseshoe crab or two and do a deep dive into the anatomy and importance of this amazing pre-historic creature. Kids ages 6-12 are invited to join us as we blend science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics with books! Each week we’ll feature stories, fun experiments and activities having to do with our summer reading theme “Oceans of Possibilities.” At the July 6 session, the American Littoral Society will present “Critters, Creeks and Coasts,” a hands-on program about the bugs that live in our freshwater streams, oysters and other creatures from the bay, where our drinking water comes from, and what we can do to protect and conserve water for animals and people. Talewise will present this live, interactive story where volunteers from the audience will help conduct hands-on science experiments that ARRRR sure to amaze!
