Teen Book Discussion and Craft

Cumberland County Library 800 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to receive a free copy of the book Wisdom from a Humble Jellyfish: and Other Self-Care Rituals from Nature by Rani Shah and then join us for a discussion. Following the discussion, we’ll make a jellyfish lantern for teens to take home. Each brief chapter in this “delightfully illustrated guide to harnessing the rhythms of nature for self-care” focuses on a plant or animal and how they have naturally adapted to deal with adversity. It is “at once charming and scientific, packed with essential wisdom and practical tips … for life-changing self-care.” Registration is required. Upon registration, participants will receive a free copy of the book while supplies last. Registrants must attend the book discussion if they pick up a book. Register online here.
