“It’s a Jungle Out There” with Pat Sutton

July 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

There’s a whole world of adventure and wonder right outside in your back yard! Educator and naturalist Pat Sutton will bring a one-of-a-kind presentation, “It’s A Jungle Out There: Life and Death in the Wildlife Garden” to Cumberland County Library.

The free and family-friendly program will be held on Thursday, July 25, at 6 p.m. at Cumberland County Library, located at 800 E. Commerce St, Bridgeton, NJ, 08302.

Pat and her husband Clay Sutton have witnessed some amazing natural history happenings in their 47-year-old wildlife garden, some heart-warming and some heart-stopping. Be prepared for an eye-opening view into the natural world, occurrences that happen every day out in the wild but are rarely seen, unless you’ve created a wildlife garden so welcoming that wildlife feels quite at home!

Pat Sutton has keenly studied the natural world for over 47 years, first as the naturalist at the Cape May Point State Park in the 1970s and 1980s and then for 21 years as the naturalist and program director at the Cape May Bird Observatory.

Today Pat is a free-lance writer, photographer, naturalist, educator, lecturer, and wildlife habitat / conservation gardening champion! Pat is a passionate native plant wildlife habitat gardener and advocate for butterflies, moths, bees (all pollinators), birds, dragonflies, frogs, toads, and other critters.

Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to hear from a renowned local expert on wildlife and gardening!

Please note: registration is required to attend this program. To sign up, please call the library at 856-453-2210 Ext. 26104, or email: brendanmc@cclnj.org.
