Baker & Taylor, a major book distributor and Cumberland County Library’s primary source of circulating materials, announced its unexpected closure recently. This means that we may experience delays in receiving new books over the coming months, unfortunately.
We’re working hard to get set up with a new distributor and get new books into our patrons’ hands. Since so many other libraries are in the same boat, the other major distributors are overwhelmed, and it will take some time to transition. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
