Women’s History Month is a time to shine a light on the many accomplishments of women. This month, children and teens are invited to celebrate the stories and achievements of women by logging their reading to earn badges and prizes! Participants can use the library’s Beanstack app to keep track of their books. “Adventure Begins at Your Library” this summer! The Cumberland County Library is inviting readers of all ages to discover new adventures as the library presents its 2024 Summer Reading Program! The program runs June 24 through August 3 and features a wide variety of special events for infants through adults. Activities include story times, S.T.E.A.M. programs, family nights, and much more! In addition to attending programs, participants can log their reading for chances to win weekly incentives and prize drawings. Patrons can register in person at the library or online beginning June 17, and start logging their reading using a paper log or the library’s Beanstack app on June 24. Cumberland County teens ages 13-18 are invited to make their voices heard in our CCL Teen Book Battles! Each month we’ll choose two books in a different genre to battle it out!
