Cumberland County will be lifting the mask mandate for library users and staff on Monday, March 7, 2022. Temperature checks will still be required, but masks for both staff and public will be optional.
Library Reopening February 7
As of Monday, February 7, Cumberland County Library will again be open to the public for in-person services. Come browse our main floor collection and check out items in-person, as well as use our computers, fax/scan station, and copier without an appointment. Please note that we still require a temperature check and a mask to enter the building, and we are still adhering to social distancing guidelines. Also, the lower and upper levels of the library will remain closed during the current construction period as well. Thanks for your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you!
Museum Passes are Back!
Cumberland County Library is proud to announce our new and improved MUSEUM PASSPORT program. Cumberland County Library cardholders in good standing can check out family passes good for free admission to: The Academy of Natural Sciences, Eastern State Penitentiary, Historic Cold Spring Village, The Museum of the American Revolution, The National Constitution Center, Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, The Newark Museum of Art, and Wheaton Arts & Cultural Center. For your convenience, Museum Passports are now available for a one-week checkout period. The passes can only be checked out in-person on a first come-first served basis, and Museum Passports may not be placed on hold. Benefits of each pass vary, so please make sure to check on the group size limit before planning your trip. Also, make sure to check with the institution for visitor guidelines, ticket reservation information, and COVID restrictions. Stop in today and check one out for your family! We hope everyone in the community can take advantage of this great program. They’re not just passes, but PASSPORTS to art, history, and culture in South Jersey and beyond!
